Mga kapatid, today's readings offer a blueprint for building a strong and faithful community. As Filipinos, our sense of community, our "bayanihan" spirit, is a source of great strength. The readings remind us that our community is not just a gathering of people, but a space where Christ Himself is present. But a strong community also needs to be one of correction. The Gospel teaches us a hard but necessary truth: that we have a responsibility to lovingly correct a brother or sister who has gone astray. This is not about condemnation, but about winning back a lost soul. It calls for courage, humility, and genuine concern for the other's salvation. Lastly, we are reminded of the promise of communion with Christ. When we gather in His name, in our families, in our parishes, in our workplaces, Jesus is there. This is a promise that should inspire us, for in Him, we find the strength to love, to correct, and to build a community founded on His presence.
